About Caring Touch Pet Sitting
Peggy Autry, owner of the Caring Touch Pet Sitting Service, has cared for many of her own pets over the years, and currently has a dog, Ringo, and 2 cats, Bella and Stormy. Ringo is a very loveable cocker spaniel/lab mix that she and her family adopted as a puppy from the Wake County Animal Shelter. Bella is a sweet, playful, and loving short-haired gray tabby that the Autry's adopted as a kitten from her former owner. Stormy, a tabby kitten, was also adopted from the Wake County Animal Shelter. She "storms" around the house, creating mayhem and fun with her antics and playfulness. Caring Touch Pet Sitting is privately owned and operated, and does not hire outside contractors or employees. Inception of the business was in March, 2004.
Peggy and her family have had many pets over the years--a pet squirrel named Freddy, several cats and dogs (Dixie, a golden retriever, Toby, a black lab, Alex, a Sheltie, and Tigger, Oreo, & Robin, our angel cats), pet fish, and a pet guinea pig.
Peggy started Caring Touch Pet Sitting after retiring from her job with the state government in 2004. She started her business due to her love for animals, and appreciation for the love and acceptance they give back to us. Our pets love us unconditionally, and what can be better in life than that!
